Natural wind enters the cooling tower from both sides respectively through the upper part of the precooling packing and cooler. The air is collected in the middle and flows upward, where the exhaust system vents it out through the top.
The spray pump draws water from the tank and distributes it evenly via the internal spray device onto the pre-cooled packing and cooler. Because the wind flow is perpendicular to the spray water fall, it is characterized as a cross-flow closed cooling tower.
