Polysurlyn Film Advantages

Preventing Metal Jacketing Corrosion: Temperature imbalances between the interior and exterior of pipelines can cause condensation. Polysurlyn film acts as a superior moisture barrier to prevent corrosion on the interior surface of metal jacketing.

  • High Durability: 0.080mm thick film for long-term protection.
  • Moisture Resistance: Superior to Kraft paper; does not absorb water.
  • Low Flammability: Enhanced safety for industrial environments.
  • Zero Pinholes: Significantly fewer pinholes compared to Kraft paper or painted surfaces.
  • Strong Bonding: High bonding strength to metal substrates using advanced raw materials.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main function of the Polysurlyn Moisture Barrier?
It is specifically used in pipeline insulation to provide thermal insulation, anti-corrosion, and moisture-proof protection for power plants, chemical plants, and oil fields.
How does Polysurlyn compare to Kraft paper?
Polysurlyn offers better quality, lower water vapor transmission rates, fewer pinholes, and superior durability as it does not absorb water like Kraft paper.
What is the standard production time and MOQ?
The MOQ is 3,000 kgs. For quantities under 200 tons, the typical production time is approximately 30 days.
In what forms is the product available?
It is available in rolls (small and large coils), flat sheets, and corrugated aluminum sheets, all covered with Polysurlyn film.
Is it possible to have Polysurlyn on both sides?
Yes, we offer several classifications including one-side Polysurlyn, Polysurlyn with a blue film protector, or Polysurlyn on both sides.
